This course is designed to overcome the shortage of caregivers for the elderly in Malaysia. During this program, the trainees will understand fully the attitude needed to be an elderly caregiver. They will learn about the diseases and infections usually associated with the elderly. Both dependents and independent care will also be focused on, from the process of receiving to the process of returning the elderly to elderly homes. Additionally, the trainees will be exposed to skills to create and maintain great lifestyles for the elderly, allowing them to enrich the lives of the elderly with wholesome activities and a healthy diet. Lastly, they will be trained on how to handle emergency situations and ensure a safe and clean environment for the elderly at these homes.
- A Malaysian Citizen;
- Minimum PT3 or equivalent;
- Not less than 18 years of age;
- Physically and mentally fit
