Note From The CEO

“Germany is a fascinating role model. The Germans have maintained their manufacturing edge despite being a high-tax, high-regulation economy. Why? Because the government really set about ensuring that it maintained funding for technical training, technical advancements and programs. It made a concerted effort to retain high-end, complex manufacturing – the kind of BMW model, if you will. And they have done that so successfully that Germany, which has a quarter if America’s population, exports more than America does.” ~ Fareed Zakaria

This is in tandem with the vision of ours Chief Minister’s YAB Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg on the road to digital economy. In October 2017, CENTEXS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Huawei (Malaysia) Sdn. With the courses offered such as Wireless Hardware Installation, Microwave Hardware Installation, FTXX OSP Hardware Installation, Data Centre Equipment Installation, Telecom Energy & Data Centre Energy Equipment Installation and Mobile Application. With the support and collaboration of the State Kampung Heritage Team and CENTEXS, we had set up workshop for six(6) months full time training and an incubator project for the Sulaman Tudung Keringkam and Tenunan Songket Sarawak. In the face of modernisation and urbanization communities, the efforts to preserve traditional crafts customarily passed down from generation to generation has never been more overbearing as to retain the Sulaman Tudung Keringkam and Tenunan Songket Sarawak heritage. With the update traditional methods and the introduction of modern heritage marketing, we can have with bags, ipad cases, handbags, shoes, pillow cases, accessories and souvenirs crafted from keringkam and tenunan songket fashioned by CENTEXS.

A motto in striving towards achieving “Premium Careers Through Technical Training”, CENTEXS are now expanding to Lundu, Dalat and recently in Lawas and Betong. With the opening of these temporary campus, we are keen in assisting the State in providing technical and digital training for the youths which can help them to become a specialist in technical and digital area and also the economic development and contribution towards prosperity of the State.

Thank you.
