The Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Aeroplane Turbine) is designed to provide trainees with the skills necessary to perform the tasks of maintaining, repairing, and inspecting aeromechanical systems on aircraft. This programme covers a range of tasks, including conducting inspections, diagnosing problems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and testing systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
The programme consist of two part :
- Theory Class at CENTEXS Lundu
- Practical Class at Subang
Upon completion of this programme, the trainee will be able to:
- Familiarize and understand the basic elements and theoretical fundamentals of the subject.
- Give a simple description of the whole subject, using common words and examples.
- Read, understand and prepare sketches, simple drawings and schematics describing the subject.
- Apply knowledge in a practical manner using detailed procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Interpret results from various sources and measurements and apply corrective action where appropriate.
- SPM with passed in English, Mathematics and Science subjects or equivalent.
- All candidates must be physically and mentally fit and do not have any visual (blind/colour blind), hearing or physical disabilities.
- Category B1.1 Technician
